Where has the time gone?

Yep it's flew by again. I haven't blogged for ages and I'm sowwy for that. I've had a week of doing 'bits' a bit of this and a bit of that, tieing up loose ends. Finally getting the mini album finished for my nan (sorry it's late nan), sorting out all the little bits for the shop. Getting things ordered to be able to complete ideas I've had, as well as doing the little jobs that have been lying around, ironing and such like.

I've also received my first DT kit last week and I've got one layout done. With plans to do more this weekend, along with a couple of CJs. Sneeky peek is shown, but you'll have to buy the kit to see the full thing. --> Scrapagogo Kit

I also can't wait to scrap a few pictures of the kids next week once I've got them printed. Lewis with his prize pencil, which he received from school the other day as he's been chosen to be on the School Council....he asked me if wearing it like this made him look like a workman? What a layout.....I could see it all the way home, and nearly jumped for joy when he said I could take a picture of him and his pencil when I got home.

Also I have a great picture of Carys cleaning the door....the latest thing with her is drawing on things with felt tip - the latest resulting in grounding for 2 weeks along with cleaning it up. The best bit about it though, is the given option to reduce her grounded time a bit by doing jobs....ideas for lovely jobs for my 7 year old teenager to do are welcomed. Hehe

Site wise things have been busy, busy. Chipboard came and went. I'm down to single figures of chipboard with more due in and the Boomin' Blossoms are going down a storm. I'm really excited about it all, as I love finding new and fresh items to stock - it's a great feeling when customers feel the same. Keep and eye on this blog and the site for my latest stock items which are different from the norm for a Scrapbook site. On that note I'm off for my sleep, so I'm ready to scrap, scrap, scrap this weekend, as well as dream up more exciting ideas. Laterz all.

Chipboard, Chipboard, Chipboard....

Most of yesterday revolved totally around chipboard. First seeing that it had landed in the UK, passed cutoms and was in Liverpool....then wondering if I could get around the 3/4 day wait for the letter to pay and delivery. Well I must say EXCELLENT Customer Service to the lady in Liverpool, as one phonecall and not only did she say I could pay before the letter arrived, but as it wasn't in the system yet (due to only getting there in the early hours) that she'd phone me back when it was. - And she DID. Hubby kindly offered to pick it up for me as well because it was on his way home - RESULT. Ahh but then it came I looked, and had to go to work. :(

Once I got back from work though, I had a great giggle. All my team mates had been talking about me while I was there, they decided that I was allowed to take my coat & shoes off when I got in but the coffee would have to wait as they wanted to see too. So scanned I did, and scanned, and scanned......then they all shopped. LOL

This morning the site got a chance, and the Chipboard category was full once again. :-) They've not left much though *rolls eyes*

The early part of tonight has been spent plaiting Megans hair in tiny plaits as she goes on a school trip from Tomorrow til Sunday night and I just know that if I didn't do it her hair would be a nightmare when she gets back. It's tired me out though, and my hands want to give in just typing this. Ahh well, just a few more bits to pack for her and a couple of kids to get quiet and asleep then I might try and get a spot of scrapping in. ~ We shall see.

Right off to sort out Megans case and get some tea for myself

Energy

I've had loads of energy today for some reason, which is a good thing, as with being so busy this past week the house needed a bit of 'treatment'. I've blitzed the whole place and worked the poor washing machine like crazy. *shame*

While my hope for scrapping this evening didn't work, I managed to watch spooks on the tele so had a nice relax instead. I've also done a bit of painting of the lock up, just a bit more to go tomorrow and I'll try and get a picture of it all ready for the worktop to go in. Not soon after it's all finished no doubt it will become hubbies zone, and I'll only be allowed in to get packing supplies out. LOL

I'll also leave you with a picture of me at about 3 - see I was cute. Also as my Ma & Pa read this blog, I thought it would bring up a few memories. :-) (good ones I hope)

Right off to bed now, I've got a school run in the morning....

Honest.....

It's a quick one honest. I had a great day today at the Liverpool crop, many thanks Lynn for providing a great hall and scrummy biscuits. I even managed to get a layout completed from start to finish which is a change. This is from my GoGoCreate kit for september of my likkle wee boy. When I first opened the kit, I just loved the colours but dreaded scrapping with them as they're not my usual taste, but once I started I fell in love.......hope to get more done tomorrow.

Tonight I was hoping to scrap but ended up organising some of my stash, ahh well creative juices will be there tomorrow - I hope. Off to get some rest now as it NEEDS to be cleaning day tomorrow, I've been out lots this week and it's beginning to show - oooops

Toot, Toot, Toot

I can finally shout about it. YEAH. Last Sunday Lorraine kindly asked me to be on the Scrapagogo GoGoCreate Design Team!!!! Of course I said yes. Well actually I said: "Can cats scratch? Can kids be annoying? - course I do." or words to that effect. LOL I've been bursting with the news all week and I can now finally shout about it as the announcement was made a short while ago. Thanks again to Lorraine for asking me, and I can't wait to start work with the next kit which should be next week or so.

The rest of today has seen hubby start work on converting the lock up - which transpires as a mini storage unit being bought and built....yep that's it. The rest is going to happen - so he says and at least he's bought the stuff, but we'll see how long it does take. Keep watching of the updates.

I've spent most of the day finishing little bits here and there, including the lovely Boomin' Blossom Tins......they are just divine and I love them, mmm might just have to let myself have a few more. hehe.

Well I think that's me done, shocking ~ an early evening blog post, along with one a day after another....and I still managed to waffle. lol. Off to get these kids in bed before they Really get in trouble, all they seemed to have done today is argue.

Ages again......

.....it's been ages again hasn't it. Ooops sowwy. Anyway umm beginning of this week I successfully managed to get all bank charges I've ever paid back from Halifax, along with interest. I was one happy bunny to say the least. We paid a few bills etc, and I treated myself to the bottom bit of a MM runaway tote, but apart from that I've been pretty good.

Yes I know that it wasn't that long ago that I got the artbin round RED tote, but it took me a while to realise that while I Love Red, I love organisation more and this is just what I needed, it's gorgeous and all packed and ready to venture to it's first crop on Saturday. :-)

Umm the rest of the week, well Tuesday was a day at home trying to catch up on housework - haha like that happened. I had Lewis off school for one, and that in it's self means alot more work. What is it with boys and men......don't do what you can ask mum/wife to do. ho hum.

Wednesday was the most delightful day at Sarah's, treated to a lovely breakfast, a drool over her stockroom/stockhouse, then coffee with Julie too before heading off to ladyheys where I managed to get some gorgeous provocraft chipboard letters. Then off to the northwich crop with a meal before hand - what more can a girl ask for.

Today has been another day of catchup. Washing, washing and more washing, along with tidying up after leaving hubby and 4 kids to it yesterday. *eeek* Then all evening I've been uploading Boomin' Blossoms......mmm scrummy, I wonder how many 'didn't make it' hehehe. Watch out tomorrow for the Boomin' Blossoms in tins, now they are just lush.

Right better get some shut eye, as it's a busy day tomorrow. Hubby is sorting and organising the lock up so he can take all his remote control cars out there and create a workshop, and I've got more washing to do along with getting the shop ready to be transported to Liverpool for the crop on Saturday.

Blog Prompt

Today's blog prompt on UKS is quite apt, and actually fits in with a layout I did last night, it's to use a quote that describes your life, your feelings, your fears or your thoughts. Talk about how it applies to you.

This layouts shows my quote and sometimes/most of the time the way I am. I don't tend to show my dreams or real feelings that often, for fear that they either won't come true or be laughed at, in turn that means that I tend to hide behind a smile quite often if things are getting me down. It's my way of getting on with life, and more often than not it either goes away, becomes non relevant or rears it head again - that's when I deal with it.

I've found that with kids I need this way of life, after all they come first - not me. It's how I get through life each day, and every now and then my dreams come true. :-) (Like one has this week).

WOW that sounds like a load of waffle reading back, but hopefully you get what I mean.....

Clippykit Bag

I've had a whale of a time today doing the inserts for my new clippykit bag. It arrived on Friday and I've been itching to do it, but I was at work last night. There was a little muck up with the order, but one simple phonecall and it's all sorted out - well and truly in my favour too. - THANKYOU Clippykit for such great service. :-)

This first side shows my 2 lovely eldest daughters and a picture of me with my brother and sister that I actually like. eeek

The other side is my 2 youngest along with my ma & pa......can't wait till I go and see them again in January. Aus for 3 whole weeks (with no kids) bliss. (I will miss them though)

Apart from that today has been spent doing the garden. It will need another mow tomorrow when the grass dries out a bit more, but hopefully that will be the bulk of the work done until next spring.

Oh and I've entered another design team. It's for a spot on the DT for Little Silver Hat a ribbon seller who has the most lovely designs and is a delightful Lady. Wish me luck. :-)

The deadline for the Retailers CJ is looming, and I've spent a fair chunk of my time this evening sorting that out, just a bit more to do in the first post - posting lists etc, but at least the main is done. Right off for a quick check of the boards and I'm off for a rest.

WOW, WOW, WOW

Quick post tonight as I've just got in from work, but do you like my new banner? Isn't it just the best. :-)

I've recently joined a new team and as well as being full of mad nutty women just like me there is talent in the genes.....Chris' daughter Beks is just the most amazing 14yr old I've not yet had the pleasure to meet. She's a wizz.....isn't it just grand.

Right off to stare at my fabby banner now and smile.

They're back.....

Kids are all back at school now, and trouble already. Little 'get' at school causing trouble with my DD2, so I've gone in like a bull in a china shop and cross fingers now it will stop dead, else I'll just have to get really angry. LOL

Got the layout done I had planned in my head on Monday and I'm really chuffed with it - don't even dare to ask me how many hours stitching it was as I'm not even going to attempt to add them up, surfice to say - LOTS.

Working the rest of the week but I'm hoping to get some scrapping done at the weekend as I need to get our teams first weekly challenge done, plus I have loads of holiday photos and I've not got many of them scrapped yet.

Apart from that it's plod on with the week and roll on next week when I get not one but 2 days out for meeee. I can't wait.

Laterz all.

Long Time no See...

Figured it's been a while since my last post - sorry about that to those that read. Sometimes I feel like I don't have much to say, but when I do post I seem to be able to waffle for an age.....

Had a manic shift at work on Saturday resulting in a very tired me. But off to a crop I went and managed to get a letter R altered, and that was it. I do have another layout in my head though and I hope to put it into practise very soon. I promise to do more at the next crop I go to - honest.

I claimed my Moneyclaim file this morning too against halifax, now the long wait for them to acknowledge it etc, before they finally give us our money back. ~ Now that will be a good day. :-)

The other layout shown is one I did with Auntie Sarah's Bloomers, yummy scrummy flowers that I just adore, so much that I had to get some more yesterday, hopefully I'll get some time to scrap with them soon.

Thanks to all the ladies at the crop yesterday for putting up with a very tired me, who due to having no creativity seemed to gas abit and wander around in a stupor. LOL

As for my moans......well......Why oh Why do some people in business not have an iota of business sense, now I'm not saying I'm the most business minded (far from it) but I NEVER make it personal. Life is too short.

I don't pinch ideas and I try my hardest (while small) to bring something a little different into the scrapping world, to go the extra mile and to make my customers happy. People in business please think before you act when others are involved - else you'll end up being the one that looses.

Big Hugs today also to a close friend - I'm here. :-)

Laterz all.
