My Little Haven

I thought it was about time I blogged, I've been busy decorating all week and it's coming along great. Hopefully I'll get some pictures of the in progress of Lewis' room when it's a bit lighter tomorrow. Tonight I've took a few pictures of my new haven.....my shop room. :D

This is my workspace top. I have a nice huge packing table with loads of boxes and drawers for all that lovely stash. :D This is all on the left as you walk into the room.

This is my storage above my worktop. I have IKEA kitchen bits and hook for all my scissors packing tape etc - everything is to hand, what could be easier? I also have guttering for some of the ribbon stash along with my bubblewrap. (I have another due to be fitted by darling hubby for my brownpaper and even more ribbon. LOL)

Straight on as you walk in is a wall full of IKEA bookcases, I have 2 stacked on top of each other. You can see part of the big bottom one here and a few from the top, the other wall is plain and due to the light rain I couldn't get far enough out to get a good shot, but you couldn't see it all anyway because that would give too much away about the upcoming bloom kits. :P

I even have my own little step stool seat area for little old me to reach high places and a zone for Katherine to sit when she comes in with me while I pack orders. :D

I love my little room, and while I really need to cut back on the amazing amount of packing supplies I have so I can fit in more stash it's working well for me....what do you think?

Hello Strangers

Yep I've been away for a while again, I do plan to get better......I'm just not sure when. Well the past few days have just been bedlam. The shop is moving from a corner of Katherines room to the lockup which is connected to the house, so today has consisted of shopping for bookcases, workbenches and various other bits and bobs. Now where is that skip to clear hubbies stuff? Also where is the guy to put my floor in, I want to move in now!!!. Hehe.

Once that is all done, the childrens bedrooms are being decorated along with the hall, stairs, landing and the bathroom (for now). Guess who gets the job of doing all that? I've got this feeling I'm going to be just a bit busy. This border is what the girls have picked for their room and Lewis has picked motorcross racing. At least they're different. LOL

Right better get this house straighted up a bit as there is cans of paint and boxes all over the place.
