blurgh!

Feeling blurgh today, though its passing so I suppose I should be grateful it's only been one day's worth. Busy tomorrow crafting with Sarah and we've got a great kit in the pipeline....think, sparkle, think bling and think purse album....hehe. Watch this space.

It's been kit mad recently and we have loads now available, I think my favourite is ummmm, actually I don't have one. LOL I love them all for different reasons... Check them out here in all their glory. :D

The children are back at school now and we've already had one off sick for 2 days....in for 3 off for 2 *sigh* ahh well it was Carys and she's hardly ever ill so hopefully thats all she needs off for the rest of the year. Katherine is due to start nursery soon and it can't come soon enough....not that I'm wanting to shove her out the door or anything as I like having them at home, but I've already endured a whole week of am I going to nursery yet? every 5 mins or so that it's getting tiresome. We've got a list of numbers now on the top of my calendar and each morning we cross one off to show how many sleeps are left. Little love even asked me this afternoon is she could have a sleep and then cross an extra number off.....pity it doesn't work like that. Ahh well only 14 more sleeps to go....

Right I'm off, in needs of a bath to freshen up after slobbing about due to feeling under the weather. Catch you all laterz.

Changes.....

Well things have been happening this weekend even if not alot meant me moving out of my chair. The business has been growing and growing with more new and exciting products both arriving and being ordered As homelife is busy at the moment it felt the right time to appoint a Creative Team. (Same as a Design Team but I like to be different...)I asked 3 people if they'd be interested this weekend and they all said YES. So I'm one happy bunny. :D Please welcome CathyC, CloClo and ScrappyKaren our new Creative Team. I've packed up some goodies for them today, and they'll be winging there way over to them first thing....I'm eager, they're eager...so why delay? Watch the homepage of the site for creations by them to appear.

Otherwise it's been busy planning, plotting and creating by myself but all that is under wraps till further notice I'm afraid so keep checking back. :D

Then the Girls Room.....

These are the pics of the girls new room:

Firstly we have as you walk in, Katherines bed with a bookcase behind.

Then we have the Girls Bunk beds, now this is a picture took through the mirror as the sun was shining too bright direct. If you look closely you can see where Katherine has made her stamp with her hands already.....

Lastly this is the wardrobe, please excuse the open door, but we need to take a bit more off the skirting board in order to make it shut.....

And there you have it.......all my hard work. LOL

More Bedroom Piccies

Today I have finished moving the girls 'stuff' into their room, put the Border up in Lewis' and generally cleaned up all the bits lying around. The landing is still a bombsite as is our bedroom, but I'll get around to it. So here are some piccies of the finished rooms (apart from doors that is, they don't have those at the min)

Firstly Lewis' Room, this is a view at the door, and is pretty much the whole room, though there is a bookcase just out of view with very little on it. LOL Can you see I've been playing? Don't the Dinosaurs and Action men look cute up there....probably won't stay put for long but hey.

Lastly is under his bed, it's a 3/4 bed so loads of room for a little boy to play underneath. :D

Girls, Girls, Girls

Well the Girls room is now papered, it's only taken me 2 solid days but it's done.......flooring is going down today, and then we can build their wardrobe and Katherines bed etc. I'm close to having my house back. :)

At the moment all the girls folded clothes and toys are in Lewis' room, with all their hanging clothes being in the kitchen and it seems as though everything is everywhere but where it should be. I can't wait to get it all straight, before we start on the Hall, Stairs & Landing.

You can't see it too well, but there are stars in the top paper and it looks really nice and bright in there now. Also I've actually got a border left over (shock) so that could have saved me £15 - ahh well, I'm sure I can get creative with it, or sell it on.

Right thats my quick update for now, off to sort out my overgrown garden today, while the floor is being put in.

The Proof

Here is the proof to all my teamies that I have been busy decorating. :P

Cheeky Katherine had to get in on the piccie, but this is his room after I've wallpapered it today, the rest of the week has been spent, stripping old paper, sanding, undercoating, more sanding, and painting (at least twice) of the ceiling, woodwork and top half of the room.

We're still waiting for the border to arrive as it's an American one, but the floor is going down tomorrow and we're hoping to move Lewis in there soon after. The border will have to be added as soon as it arrives. However due to zoom this is what it will look like when it's all done....Stuck down properly of course though.

Very boyish don't you think? Just wait till you see the girls room done, very pink!! I'm not looking forward to papering it though......I forgot just how tiring it was, I'm pooped.

Anyway a quick update from me - catch you all Laterz!

My Little Haven

I thought it was about time I blogged, I've been busy decorating all week and it's coming along great. Hopefully I'll get some pictures of the in progress of Lewis' room when it's a bit lighter tomorrow. Tonight I've took a few pictures of my new haven.....my shop room. :D

This is my workspace top. I have a nice huge packing table with loads of boxes and drawers for all that lovely stash. :D This is all on the left as you walk into the room.

This is my storage above my worktop. I have IKEA kitchen bits and hook for all my scissors packing tape etc - everything is to hand, what could be easier? I also have guttering for some of the ribbon stash along with my bubblewrap. (I have another due to be fitted by darling hubby for my brownpaper and even more ribbon. LOL)

Straight on as you walk in is a wall full of IKEA bookcases, I have 2 stacked on top of each other. You can see part of the big bottom one here and a few from the top, the other wall is plain and due to the light rain I couldn't get far enough out to get a good shot, but you couldn't see it all anyway because that would give too much away about the upcoming bloom kits. :P

I even have my own little step stool seat area for little old me to reach high places and a zone for Katherine to sit when she comes in with me while I pack orders. :D

I love my little room, and while I really need to cut back on the amazing amount of packing supplies I have so I can fit in more stash it's working well for me....what do you think?

Hello Strangers

Yep I've been away for a while again, I do plan to get better......I'm just not sure when. Well the past few days have just been bedlam. The shop is moving from a corner of Katherines room to the lockup which is connected to the house, so today has consisted of shopping for bookcases, workbenches and various other bits and bobs. Now where is that skip to clear hubbies stuff? Also where is the guy to put my floor in, I want to move in now!!!. Hehe.

Once that is all done, the childrens bedrooms are being decorated along with the hall, stairs, landing and the bathroom (for now). Guess who gets the job of doing all that? I've got this feeling I'm going to be just a bit busy. This border is what the girls have picked for their room and Lewis has picked motorcross racing. At least they're different. LOL

Right better get this house straighted up a bit as there is cans of paint and boxes all over the place.

On it's Way

Got news this morning that those cute little bags should be with me soon. I can't wait to see what next months kit looks like in them. I'll try and get the sneeky peek up just as soon as I can once I've finished stroking the bags. LOL

Also due tomorrow is some lovely cigar boxes ready to alter and decorate. They have so many possibilities my mind is racing with what to do. What do you think? Can you see allsorts too? Maybe a baby keepsake box, or a mini album....I need to find the time to play with one of these little babies.

Right just had to shout my news, off again now as I'm bored of waiting for the Royal Mail Van Man so I'm off to get the Post office run done.

Laterz.

Cyber Madness

There is nothing quite like a Cyber Crop to get the madness flowing. This years theme of the MadHatter is very apt. Kits went up on site and flew out again. There is me thinking I've got plenty in, only to be shown that nope....it's not enough. Anyhow they've pretty much all left the house now enabling me to move in the stock room. :-)

The new Boomin' Blossom kit also went on site this week and sold out in record time, but I knew the minute I started planning this one it would go down a treat. Black, White, Grey and Red look soooo nice together. However plans for upcoming kits were set back a little the other day when I had more problems getting hold of the tins I use, however fear not I looked and looked until I found the perfect thing. Aren't these little purses just as cute as can be?

Anyway just a little update from me as I'm going to try and find some scrapping time, I've got swaps to fullfill along with Mystery kits to play with.

Oh the Shame

Well I didn't do to well did I. Ahh well I'm here now. Lots has been going on the past few weeks, what with the daily housework along with packing and posting orders etc.... NOW it's CyberCrop time, yep that time of year when all scrappers take a weekend to scrap ALL the time in their PJ's. I love the hype, preplanning and to finish it off with a weekend of scrapping is just the best. :D

This time it's special for me too, just keep an eye out here for why.....

I've done quite a bit of scrapping the past few weeks too though I can only show you the one as the rest is DT, so you're going to have to wait I'm afraid. Hehe. It's my Nan having the first Icecream of the holiday, and it melted everywhere. The title is Queenie as she was our queen for the whole holiday and we treated her like royalty. I'm hoping to get some more done while it's holiday time, though time will tell.

I've been busy and packed all the subscriber Boomin' Blossom Kits up, and I expect it will get busy again on the 10th when it goes on sale as you've got to admit it's one of the best yet.

Right go to dash Cyber Crop stuff to sort out. I'll try and be back sooner rather than later. :)

Apologies.....AGAIN

So I'm doing BAD, I've really needed to update this blog but not got around to it, then had soooo much to say and blady, blady blah. Anyway clean slate, I'll start back with my daily drivel. Hehe.

To keep you going here are a few Oz pics where I had a great time, reading books, paddling and visiting Ma and Pa. Then my aim is to be more up to date with pics and news etc....(starting tomorrow as I've just got in from work and need some tele time.)

Ta-ra

I've not got much to type at the moment, partly due to being busy and partly because I'm tired. But I just wanted to wish you all a big Ta-Ra for a while as I'm jetting off to sunny Oz in the morning for 3 weeks. :) Sun, Sea, Sand and Latte. All mixed in with lots of Scrapping and good company. I'm sure I'll have lots to say when I get back, but for now, from me it's Ta-Ra

Happy New Year!!!!!

Well it's took me this long to write it's my first post of the new year. Did you miss me? I'm a bit of a headless chicken at the moment, I'm going to visit my Ma & Pa for 3 weeks.....and I'm going on Saturday - Eeeeeek, am I ready, am I eck? I've got to pack, sort out business bits, even do that dreaded tax return (on my jobs list for tonight, as I need to breath) . I've decided to write a list of all I need to do, but first I want to get loads of little bits done tonight, else my list will need 20 sheets of paper. lol

The new year is going to be full of good and lovely things, I can feel it in my bones, and some are happening already......The shops new Boomin' Blossoms Kits have been going out a storm, with sell outs already, next months is all packed and ready for my return from Down under. I've also ordered some other yummy goodies that you're going to have to wait to see.....it's all soooo exciting. :)

While I've only done 4 layouts this month ~ 3 of them are underwraps and the other I've still not got around to taking a picture of, I'll give you a picture of my kit for colour. Isn't it pretty?

Right off to clear the last email for the moment out of my inbox, so at least I feel I'm getting somewhere..... Laterz.
